ABOUT ME

Putting My Experience
to Work

Today is a new day. Welcome to the official site of Sharon Moman for District 56.  Your source of information including upcoming events, information on the issues, history and background, and so much more. Raised by a single mother, Sharon worked to make it in life.  Sharon learned from a young age the importance of hard work, seeing her mom work hard and organize in her community for the social issues in the 1970s. It made her the activist and successful business woman in real estate that she is today and instilled in her the need to create an economy that works for everyone.

Sharon Moman has deep roots in the community, and has long been dedicated to serving it. Among her many commitments in Real Estate, she has been very active with several political organizations, an associate minister at New Horizon Church Int'l and she also serves in the usher ministry .  Sharon Moman has always been a mover and a shaker; from a young age, she was always at the forefront of any decisions that needed to be made. Please feel free to browse the website, where you will find all you need to know surrounding Sharon Moman and how she is fighting for change and progress.

District 56 Platform

I will work to ensure the community and local leaders have the knowledge, resources and opportunities to grow District 56.

Patient with Healthcare Nurse

HEALTHCARE

Mississippi has the worst health outcomes in the country. Mississippi has the highest rate of of babies dying than any other state, we need to change that! I will fight to keep our rural and urban hospitals open. I will be a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves.

Zero Waste Store

ECONOMY

Our beautiful city of Clinton has not grown at the pace of Pearl, Madison and Brandon. That stops in 2024. I will work with our Mayor, Council and Supervisors to obtain all fundings available from the State for economic growth.  As Clinton grows, so does District 56.

EDUCATION

HB530 was a start to improving the education landscape in our state, but more is needed. Send me to the our State Capitol and I will fight for better salaries for teachers and better and safer schools for our children. I will make advocating for children a priority!
